ABOUT TEACH-INS

A teach-in is an educational event characterized by intensive discussions and learning sessions centered around a specific social topic.

Origination in the 1960s, teach-ins have since evolved into grassroots gatherings where experts, activists, and community members come together to share knowledge, insights, and perspectives.

Through panel discussions, lectures, workshops and interactive activities, participants engage in critical dialogue and community buildng, empowering themselves and others to become informed advocates and agents of change.

Teach-ins serve as a strategy for raising awareness, promoting education, and mobilzing action on pressing issues,
organized during times of social upheaval or to address specific concerns within society.
