Opening Artist's Reception: The Art of Farming

Grab a friend and get ready to be moved by The Art of Farming, a collection of work from Denise Johnson.

About the Artist and Exhibit

I live on a magical little flower farm in the Pacific Northwest with an asortment of animals that all get along. I collect vintage trailers and grow and arrange flowers; all of these things end up in my colorful art.

I rise at 4:30 each morning to paint before the farm wakes up. Vintage maps and dictionary pages often show up with acrylics, and chalk pastels. I see my art as a joyful expression of farm life that celebrates each season full of flowers, animals and nature.

So take a look around and enjoy my garden, my florals and all the darling creatures that live here with me, as well as the ones I meet along the way. My hope is that my art brings a smile to your face and puts joy and hope in your heart.
